			Totally fake.  Airbags go off with explosive force!!  Ask anyhow who's had one go off on them. 
 
 Besides, the triggers are calibrated for impacts greater than parking lot speeds.

			I don't think an airbag would go off from a swinging purse.  Some airbags don't even go off during minor collisions that cause actual damage to the car.  It's either fake or there was something wrong with the airbag system in that car.

			Hi,
 Totally staged!  Air Bags deploy at an avg. of 0.05 seconds.  Also, Modern Cars (post-'99) use a very refined algorythm in their MEMS devices (triggering microchips) to reduce deployments at low speeds.  That old Lady would have to Bench Press 350 lbs. to make an impact significant enough to trigger the bags.
 
 Still, funny though...
