Why does my horn beep every time I lock my car?

It's not nice to lock your wife/girlfriend/kids in your car. ;)

I believe it is a factory setting? You might try using the search function as I vaguely remember this one being covered in the past.

Horn beeping

This happens to tell you that qne of the areas covered by the alarm is not closed properly. It could be because the hood is down or the glovebox or the console is open. Hope this helps.
