986 to 996 gague cluster conversion
 

Hi All -

Does anybody know the difficulty level / possibility of converting my gauge cluster from my Boxster ('01) and convert it to the 5-gauge 996 panel?

I believe there is a pretty good writeup over at RennTech. The difficulty level is fairly easy... If I remember correctly, it is a pretty straight swap, though you'll need to modify your cluster trim, or get one that fits the 5 pod unit, and then add a couple extra wires for the oil gauge, etc.
