Your Best Hardtop Pictures
Please post them if you have one. I am trying to decide on whether to buy one :)
Cheers |
Here is a link to a couple of pics I posted a few weeks back. Get the hardtop if you think you want/need one. In less than five minutes your back to the original soft or no top look.

Awesome cars there guys
Ordering it tomorrow |
Where are you getting the top?
There's a website making them new for $1050 + paint. |
I am getting it from one of the places here in the UK that refurbishes them and paints them to match your car.
I have seen the new ones but was not sold on the style, unless you are referring to someone making a copy of the original? |
I am refering to these:

Jcijoe - Great looking car, thanks!
Grizzly - thats just too cool, love the garáge too, whats the project in the lower left? I have a 3 month project that is still ongoing after 2 years :) Rick3000 - those tops look really good but I think the shipping to the UK would negate the great price. |

Noone986s,
Good eye. It's a '67 912. I have two of them in different states of disassembly, but they're both on hold for the forseeable future, because I just got started on this... http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k2...1/DSC00608.jpg This is my first car. I drove it to high school and college. My Dad bought it for me 29 years ago. Thanks for the compliment on the garage. Its remodel was something I was looking forward to showing off, but my never ending stream of hopeless projects keeps messing it up before I can take decent pictures. Here are a couple that were taken before it was really finished... http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k2...1/DSC00629.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k2...1/DSC00423.jpg |
Good lord that is a cool set up. I have an old austin mini wedged in next to the boxster and would love a garage like that. The land to build it over here would be worth so much you would just build a house on it.
|
It's not the perfect set-up, but I'm certainly grateful for it. We were adding to an existing garage on a pretty tight lot, so the space I ended up with is long and narrow. I have to park the cars behind one another, so when I want to get something out, it can be quite a juggling act. Here's one more...
http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k2...1/DSC00631.jpg By the way, I love the old Minis. What cool cars. I've had a number of Brits, but never a Mini. |
I have my hardtop hanging on the wall like Grizzly's.
Grizzly, Tell me about your floor. Those tiles look huge. I just moved into a new house and have been toying with either painting the garage floor or going the tile route. I am also putting in a 4 post lift like you have so I can stack my toys on one side. I've got a 67 Mustang hidden away in a barn in Kansas waiting on a pro-touring restomod, but I've got too many other projects taking up my shop space. Is the stove for powdercoating? or pizza? I really like your light setup as well. I hadn't thought of doing track lights by the bench. Great idea. |
omg, DAMN THATS A NICE GARAGE
