Rotor and Pad life

hey,
I have read about this topic but havent found exactly what i was lookinng for. I am considering getting there brakes http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-04-Porsche-Boxster-X-Drilled-Slotted-Rotors-F-R_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33564QQihZ006QQitemZ1 60134772426 but was wondering do cross drilled or/and sloted brakes increase pad ware and how much if they do. I would most likely use Pagid blue with them. And as far as rotor life....how long would they last compared to OEM that can be machined?

Comes down to how you use the brakes to begin with. Regular street sriving should be fine either way. Track driving, or subjecting them to high heat, well, they will wear out quicker. I would surmise factory OEM rotors good for 30-50K miles of street driving. Pads, perhaps less.

I have 63,000 miles on my rotors. I'm on my second set of pads. No issues.

As it turns out I’m not the best speller when in a hurry and tired....I meant to say wear. What I’m trying to compare is life expectancy of pads being used on those rotors vs. OEM rotors......and life expectancy of those rotors them selves vs. OEM rotors. Sorry for the confusion
