New Full Windscreen For Pre 2005 Boxsters
For those of you Boxster owners that do not have the center windscreen or the black mesh grills, I have developed a complete windscreen that screws right into your roll bar. Its not on my web site yet but you can contact me at
asenoff@aol.com or cell 404 603 4916. It will sell for $150.00 plus $20.00 shipping http://i7.tinypic.com/4z057no.jpg |
We need to see more pics, one or two from the back, one from the side, the more the better and you'll probably get some sales.

I don't know buddy. I give you cuddos for coming up with something but the way your screen overlaps the bottom of the roll bar ( causing a visilble gap ) and securing with very visible self tapping screws -- the whole thing looks like an after thought add-on. Sorry -- I do hope you sell a million though.

Can you come up with a different way to secure it without putting screws into the rollbars and without seeing the screws in that prominant of a place? The price seems pretty good compared to the price of the Porsche OEM windstop though.

I think it is a good idea, but I wonder if the gap between the rollbars and the plexi creates a large area for wind noise, or even whistling, no?

I may be able to secure the windscreen to roll bar using tiny rare earth magnets. I do not like straps and 4 black screws seems to be the very best most secure way to mount it

The comments from my one windscreen out on a Boxster is there is no vibration and no noise even at high speeds.

That looks exactly like the windscreen from the BMW Z3. No offense but its construction was fantastic and yours seems plain. It was completely flush with the roll bar and had 2 bent reinforcement ribs so it could sit flush and never bend. I think if you took some time to bend the lexan to fit the bottom (like an L) and trimmed it up so it did not protrude outside the roll bar, you might be competitive in the market. Honestly, I paid big money for the OEM windscreen because there were no alteratives, but your current design seems like a prototype and would not have been an option. Hope you strive for perfection, us Porsche owners can be a picky bunch.

Its a good prototype as it will be a very visible part it need to look very close to perfect. unlike exhaust that im modifying on my car, it doesnt really matter if its perfect looking of not to lots of people because its hidden, but anyway that exhaust its just for me and bunch of people have done that mod. But good luck and i hope you are able to come up with something good
