First Road Trip - Wow!
My better half and I just finished our first road trip in the beloved boxster. I can't even begin to describe how much fun it was. We covered 2500 miles in a week, much of it over curvy mountain roads. I didn't believe I could drive a car that performs like that for that distance and have no problems, but we didn't have even one. 26 mpg and inexhaustible enthusiasm from both the car and the drivers.
Now I need to sign up for a Skills Day so I can take those curves as Porsche intended me to.

Glad to hear you had a good time. There is nothing better than an extended road-trip in a Porsche with your wife…
Please post pics of your experience!

nice man, glad you had fun.
on a side note, i cant get my GF to drive w me in the car, top up or down, for more than 30 mins, she hates the car pretty much lol, well not really, but the drive at least. just the other day she asked me why dont i "upgrade' to a Chrysler Crossfire LOL
so yeah, definitely another addition to "boxster is not a girls car" lol

that's what I am thinking.
I am also thinking she has not ever ridden in a Crossfire as that vehicle provides a MUCH more harsh and tiring ride.

Congrats, always good to hear about a good road trip. I guess I lucked out with my gf during my road trip home, she was begging to leave the top down the whole time - including thru the Mojave Desert at 110 degrees...

Thanks, all - I finally figured out how to put pictures in my posts (though I suspect I'm doing it the hard way), so I'll download a few from the camera and pop 'em up.
