PCM Navigation - 2 Leds blinking - Initializing Navigation !?

Hello,

I just changed my post :) I thought I had a problem with a stuck NAVI CD and that caused my NAVI to stall.

I found out the stuck cd had nothing to do with the non-functional navigation ! Therefor I renamed the title of this post so it wouldn't confuse anyone else with a similar problem.

But the navigation unit still does not work. I am afraid it is completely defect, but I read about 'calibration' of the Navigation unit on another webpage, does anyone know how long that takes ?

And has anyone here ever experienced that their navigation unit just started blinking both yellow leds ? It seems like the whole system is stuck. It would make sense if it is simply calibrating but it doesn't say so anywhere - it just says 'Initializing Navigation'.

Please help - any suggestions or experience on the subject is very welcome !
