widest tire on rear rim?
I'm going to buy a set of Moda MD1's and they recommend a 265, will a 275 fit with no spacer? Will it stick out from the fender and look weird?

My rears are 275s and they sit inside the fenders just fine. If I'm not mistaken, TriGem has 285s on his and they fit well also.

275s will fit, i had them on my 17s. but fishtailing was alot harder.

275s on mine as well...and it takes quite a bit of effort to get it off its line...

So you guys mean that 275s give you much better traction? Thats a nice point to know.

It all depends on YOUR wheels offset.

285 fits fine with the right offset on a 10" wheel. I have 18X10 et 43mm and they fit with no issues.
