Eibach, Techart, gemball, HR, and Ruf has a set made by HR to their stiffness... I have always been curious about them since Ruf deemed the good enough for the 3400S. Honestly you should go for the HR... cheap and reliable. If you could match them to ROW struts or Bilstein Sport shocks that would be ideal, but many run with springs only.

wheres the cheapest place to get some HR from?

if you are getting a free install maybe you can get a full coil over kit or replace the shocks in addition to the springs? Seems like a good oppourtunity to really cut down the cost of a big one time expense.
Your car will feel and drive like brand new with new shocks.

But if you wan the best bang for the buck, then the K-Sport Coilovers are going to be your best bet. They are only $1040.00 for the complete set. Here is the web link.

Well my recommendation would be if you can get a big discount on a coil-over install... got that. Get some PSS9's... BUT if you don't want to go that direction for whatever reason then the HR's will be fine... you will need to get an alignment though once you lower the car.

djomlas 06-28-2007 09:23 AM

i can get any suspesion install for free, springs or coilovers.
BUT, like i said, i dont have much $ to throw at the car right now, and like we all, i dont like the wheel gap either, so just lowering it will be sufficient.
its not that i dont want the coilovers, its just that i dont have the money to spend on that right now, but if you guys wanan contribute a few hunderd we can work something out hehehe :D

im trying to see which one i should go with, Eibach or HR.
im in a need of rear tires as well, so some larger rear tires will be in the works as well hehe (hint hint 275s)

I found my Ksports for $999.

They are being installed now, I can't wait to drive my car home.

Well Ive ridden in a HR boxster on ROW struts... it rode well. NO where to same as mine though. The springs will lower you quite a bit, so if you are going to up size your tires make sure they aren't going to rub. Im lowered a tad over an inch with PSS9's and had no rubbing with 245's up front and 275's in the rear.... just a fyi.
