Palyed with a Tl

So as i was cursing down the road with nobody in sight a Acura Tl blew past me, we both managed to be at the same stoplight, and Once the light turned green we both floored it,( btw i didn't launch,) we were both neck on neck until i shifted into 2nd when i gained about 1.5 cars on him, at the next light i made my turn and we both flashed each other, i was pretty surprised the the Tl could keep up for a sedan

If its was the newer TL your talking about a 270hp sedan and weighs maybe a couple hundred more pounds than the Boxster. I'm not suprised that it hung around with you.

Agreed. I think the newer TL's would actually take the base Boxster on a 0-60 sprint, as they are rated at under six seconds for the run.

Hooray for TLs! (my daily driver)

Even the second generation Type-S cranks out 260hp with the base model pushing 220hp -slightly nudging out the Boxster's HP. I'm surprised the Boxster took it at only 2nd gear.

My car (I love it)! Aww yeah, FIVE cylinder baby!
