New Clutch =very tight

I just replaced my clutch and either I am so used to driving on a worn clutch or it is very tight. It is taking me some getting used to as I find it difficult to shift smoothly. Is this how it should be. I suppose it could be my shifting style but have been driving manuals in all my cars.

I would expect to need some re-adjustment to your style after a new clutch is put in. You may have been compensating for its "failure" and didn't even know it. Give it some time.

I find jumping between various stick shift cars that an adjustment time is needed to be as smooth as I like to be.

How hard was the replacement? I've got 81k on my car now so I'm sure it's not too far down the road I'll be replacing mine.

Pretty much normal to have to re-adjust to a "normal" clutch after driving a worn one.

Clutch replacement isnt that bad if you have access to a lift. I'd NEVER consider doing it without a lift, however.
