mothers clay bars?

spark00 06-18-2007 06:36 PM

that's the system i used last week on mine and i would recommend it. i love how easy it was and finish looks great. but since this was the only clay bar system i've ever used, i'm not sure how this compares to other brands.

ive used it and it works great, pretty much they are all the same thing.

Yeah, I used Mother's on my TT and GTI, and thought the results were great. Will use it on the Box when there's a need.

I agree, used Mothers for the first time ever and had great results... time consuming but way worth it. Makes me wish I wasnt so lazy with other vechicles I've owned... smooth as glass.

I just used Meguiar's and it worked like a dream. I also have Griot's but not have used it just yet. I imagine Mother's etc. are all pretty much the same. You will be astonished at the smoothness of the paint after you use whatever product you choose. Definitely do it and you will hooked for life I guarantee.

They are all going to work well. I've even used the cheapie Clay Magic from Pep Boys and gotten good results. The biggest difference is how agressive the clay is and how easy it is to fold over and press out.

You're good to go. You'll be pleased and amazed if you've never used one.
