Front License Plate Mounting (Stupid NY)

The title says it all. NY and their silly front license plate rule is wasting my time this weekend.

I bought an el-cheapo black plastic license plate mount but I don't have screws to put it into the bumper.

-What size (length, threading) screw do I need?
-Do I need any other parts to mount this plate?

I'm hoping a trip to the screw department in home depot and close this pretty quickly.

Thanks!

Unfortunately you will have to get two mounting blocks and backing plate(they hold the plate in an upright position) from the dealer. They will push fit into the holes in your bumper unless it is out of state and didn't have the holes to begin with. I, too, live in NY and finally put the front plate on just so I didn't have a trauma everytime a state trooper approched me from the front. Got stopped once a week after buying the car and running without the plate so I decided to end that part of anxiety, now I just worry about the speed when rounding a corner............hello V1.
