OBC Querying

All,

I have never had my boxster spit out a report from the OBC and I would like to get at some of the useful tipbits of information contained within the OBC's databanks. Will most mechanic shops be able to patch into the computer or will I need to go to a specialized place? Also, how much does a read-out from the OBC usually cost?

Thanks!

Are you talking about a diagnosis test on the car?
If so, yes your mechanic should be able to check it with his OBD II (they plug in under the dash and read the CEL light and can check the car if you have a high grade one).
