knob and GT3-stlye console delete

i had this knob on all my cars, and was very sad that i couldnt use it on the porsche.
so today i drilled the inside a little to fit on the b&m shaft, and here it is...it actuially sits lower than the stock one so it feels even better.
also, i got rid of the console part that was giving me a bruise every day. was thinking about the GT3 delete, but figured i dont want to pay too much money to take parts off my car.
total cost= $5

btw, can you see that i got a hang of the camera, no modification to pics whatsoever, other than resize and border

enjoy

DJ, do you have any other pics of the delete? It's a little dark and I'd like to see some detail on how it ended up looking.

I've been thinking about the GT3 delete kit, just can't decide on the look of all the open space.

Garage
So did you just pull the center console off and carpet it yourself?
By the way it looks good!

yeah i just pulled that console out, left the carpet pieces on the sides where they were, and made a piece to go on top.

nice knob but don't they get too hot to drive when you leave the car out on sunny summer day for a while? i used to carry a small hand towel in other car for a similar knob on previous car for those hot sunny days.

btw, i also like the color porsche logo on your stiring wheel. is that a patch or did you paint that on?

it actually doesnt get all that hot at all, even with the top down and sitting in the sun for few hrs.
