Serialized Parts
 

I was discussing this with a friend of mine the other day, and was wondering if parts like the hood or bumper covers was serialized with the VIN #? I know some other cars are like this, like my other car, but I am not sure on the Boxster's.

When my front trunk lid was replaed I did not see any VINs.

Thanks Toolpants, I was thinking though that the last time I had the bumber cover off to clean the radiators, I remember seeing something other than a part number printed on it.
