Awesome road trip... Awesome car
Finally took ownership of my 2005 S silver/black from an owner in Santa Monica. Flew out from SLC friday... spent the night in Vegas and won some cash saturday... did some hiking in Zion NP on sunday... and back to Salt Lake monday.
Other than some sunburn in the hairline I am 110% in love with this car - it is 10x more fun than I had imagined. Glad to be an owner and not just a looker on the forum anymore.

Thats a great color combination. I recommend that you look up your local Porsche Club of America (PCA) and tap into some of the events that they put on. They have something for everyone.

While car pics are all well and good, post pics from Zion or from that little strip of AZ between Nevada and St. George (if you took any).

Thanks to everyone, nice pix. I wish I had taken more pix of her en route but the bug guts on the front were somewhat discouraging... wanted to get a bath in first. Now seeing Dr. Kill's pic makes me wish I had changed my mind. The stretch from AZ to St George was sweet as well...
I also didn't know there were other UT owners on here, that's cool. What's crazy is the gf just got accepted to med school in North Chicago so a move there in the next few months may be on the menu.
Pix to come soon, as soon as I solve my computer illiteracy.
