smoke?
 

I start my car and let it warm up for a few seconds. Back out my driveway and as I'm backing out I notice a cloud of smoke. Is this normal or is this something that should be immediately checked out? Instict says, don't drive it anymore and have it checked out but, I'm curious if anyone else has had the same problem?

A little puff at startup is totally normal. If it's a lot of smoke, though, you've got problems. Don't sweat the smal stuff.

Right, a little smoke at startup is not a bad thing. The flat design of the engine lends itself to oil pooling in the cylinder heads. Sometimes a little gets in and you get a little smoke.

If it happens later than right at startup, you might have other problems, like the AOS going bad. I'd check the throttle body area for oil. If there's oil drips around it, you may have a failing AOS.

I just did this a few weeks ago. That little puff of smoke will be more noticeable as you continue to drive it.
