New Cayman Side Vents

I installed my new Cayman side vents tonight. Eric did a great job with the paint match. Once you do one side and get the idea of removing the vent and frame the other side goes much easier. I suggest you start with the drivers side first.

I really like the look yet my wife doesn't so much. O well.

Very nice! I think you've convinced me to change the vents on my '05. By the way, is that a sand interior? Looks similar to my color combo (seal/sand), except I have a gray top and meteor seems to be slightly darker.

I am assuming the vents wont fit a '99? I hope I am wrong. Anyone know? Looks great by the way.

You are correct. The 97-04 Boxster is the 986, whereas the 05-present Boxster is the 987. The vents are different.

The new vents look great, nice job. In my mind I would never match a dark Grey and Sand but they look awesome!
