Carrera S Wheels from 997?

I have 19" Carrera S wheels on my 987S, with tires sized at 235/35/19 up front, and 275/35/19 in rear. I've located a set of the same wheels (cleaner shape - mine are curbed) with Michelin Pilot Sports sized at 235/35/19 and 305/35/19 in rear.

My question is, will these fit my 987S? I didnt know the Carrera (997) rears were different - although I probably should have. Anyone have any advice here? I dont think I can pull the trigger...although the price is perfect.

Dezign, if your rears are stock, the size is 265/35/19 not 275's. Just an FYI.

yeah, I realized that when looking at replacement tires online...I bought the car with a few miles on it and a fresh set of non-OEM tires.

i'm guessing there's no way the 305's will fit...

With 305's you will need wider wheels in the back. The stock wheels won't carry that size tire, I think the max is 285. You would have to go to a wider wheel with a spacer to pull it off.
