You should sell your Boxster, buy a ticket back home and try to make a difference. Considerably more noble than complaining about the country you presently live in.

Frank,

Thanks for your brave service to protect this country and everything it stands for. Be careful and come back in one piece.

bmussatti 05-31-2007 04:34 PM

You rock Frank!! Thank you for serving the greatest country on the planet!

xxxalexxxx 05-31-2007 07:20 PM

I too hate wars and any army in general because i accociate them with the things I've seen in a war zone, many people dont know what its like to be in a war zone as an innocent civilian but i have to disagree and say that the US ARMY didn't "ruin" serbia, they just didnt let them continue killing innocent people. The war in the 90's was on Croatian and Bosnian land not Serbian land to begin with. If the UN didnt interfere in the 90's the balkans woulda have gone through another european genocide.

Anyway, take care Frank and come home safely!!

blinkwatt 05-31-2007 07:34 PM

jhandy 05-31-2007 07:42 PM

This thread is NOT for this kind of comment.

Please refrain from this here.

djomlas 06-01-2007 06:33 AM

if you notice 99% of all our threads get off track, but ok.

DJ, the issue here is not about "being on or off track", it is most about being respectful and showing good citizenship.

It is unfortunate that Frank's post has been discolored...the same has been done to Rail26's. This saddens me. I respectfully suggest this stop. If something positive can't be said, I suggest you just say nothing instead. These 2 guys deserve much better.

MartinJ 06-01-2007 07:05 AM

Frank, thanks for your willingness to serve, be safe.

Yes, I think the point here is that it's fine for you to have your own opinion, it is just grossly inappropriate to express something like this in a thread about one of our own being sent off to fight. None of our board members started this war. Give these guys a nod, wish them well, or don’t, but please do not respond to their farewell with criticism. Save your criticism of the war for a different thread or a different forum.

Brucelee 06-01-2007 08:10 AM

There will be zero tolerance for anyone who posts anything that is remotely disrespectful in this thread.

These brave men are choosing to serve the United States. That is all that matters. If you don't agree, DON"T POST!

Thanks for your understanding and compliance.
