Porsche 'Roxster' ??
Speculation that Porsche will have a smaller SUV called the 'Roxster'. Looks pretty cool for that category but I'm not a big fan of the mini SUV craze.

Well two thirds of it look ok. I don't like the Daewoo hatch, or the Isuzu front intake. Then again this design is just someone's imagination anyway.

|
awful....worst photoshop job I have ever seen.
and that 2nd pic looks like something from KIA. |
I think its a photoshop of a Nissan Morano, Moranos come in that sunburnt orange color as well.

Jeebus, Porsche! Quit watering down your name by building fad vehicles!!

Piech has always been a meglamaniac!

Whats next? A minivan??? oh god no.... don't be a Dodge or Chevrolet. |
Jeez you guys...?! There's a whole ton of us that need something besides intimate seating for two. I've got two SUVs and can't wait for a decent Cross Over to get my wife out of her tank. They're lighter, good in Winter and still roomy. Why shouldn't the P-boys build them? I'd rather them or a small Audi than any other brands at the moment.
Some of you sound like step children who act out when your 'parents' have a new baby in the house. I just wish it wasn't taking so long... j i m |
i dont like that at all.
looks like a BIG Golf w those headlights. but then again i think that cayene is a useless model as well, so my opinion doesnt count much either way :( |

Useless model??? bwahahahahaha OMG Porsche might not be around if it weren't for the Cayenne. That SUV has brought so much revenue to the company that it can keep developing sports cars even with Carrera and Boxster sales are down. |
I still don't understand why 90% of SUV owners drive SUV as daily drivers.
Most I know are the only passenger in the car 90% of the time and the car is empty of Cargo 90% of the time and about half of them drive their cars in urban areas only. If I drove a car every day I'd be driving a hybrid Prius or something. I just walked past my complex's parking lot and nearly 3/4's of the cars were 3 ton+ SUVs. I saw a commerical for the Buick Enclave "the most luxurious suv in the world" what's next swarovzki diamon encrusted flannel pajamas? :D no more SUVs please... |

+1. I don't understand it either. Most minivans I see are only occupied by 1 person as well. |
@ P/L & chills...here, probably I could shed some light to your question..hehehehe!
Before I jump into sports cars, I use to own 3 trucks..97 Suburban faily hauler, 99 Dodge Ram 1500 Cab w/ long bed, camper shell, carpeted cargo that turns into twin size bed w/ 3" lift kit to pull my 89 Ford Bronco w/ 3" suspension lift and 1 1/2 body lift sitting on a super swamper tires when i go four wheeling locally.. Why do i drive it as a D/D? coz' I feel superior on the street/freeway with those mini monster truck (flame suit on)...that's my honest answer :D |
yea yea i know what cayene did revenu wise, but im talking about actual car, i think its pretty useless.
i think that about most SUVs, because most of these things, like PL said, dont get to see any dirt road, dont haul anything but little 3yr old kids, and get used daily by one person. |

SUVs are a fad... one that's hard to shake! Let gas prices keep climbing, and people will pull their heads out of their butts and realize they CAN get by on a smaller, more efficient car. You should see my thread about alternative vehicle power. When the Boxster is paid off, I'm going to be looking for, or waiting for, a vehicle like the Chevrolet Volt. But I hope Toyota or Honda come up with something more appealing using the same type of drivetrain. |

ahh, ok. Most SUV's aren't used for what they are made for, which is unfortunate. I had an Xterra before my Boxster, and I used it for SUV stuff quite a bit. I towed a bit-ass trailer full of motorcycles to the race track, I loaded it with backpacking gear and backpackers and hauled them to remote locations. I also commuted to the Loop with it and that SUCKED. Once I stopped doing trackdays I decided it was time for a change. I can fit a couple of backpackers and gear in my Hyundai, and it gets better gas mileage, too. I'll be glad when the SUV fad is over. Someone isn't a tough outdoorsman just because they have an SUV, so get that out of thine head. ;) |

That name just SUCKS!!!! Talk about devaluing the name of the Boxster. Like having an evil brother (or sister). |
