Ok, another question for those that have desnorked...
I'm fixing to desnork my intake this weekend. I know that the intake sound is increased by removing the snork when revving over 4K rpms. I notice, however, that on the highway, in my still snorked car, there is this really nice intake whine/growl when you step on the gas on the highway in a high gear (ie. say you're in 5th gear, and cruising at around 2200-3000 rpms)...during this lower rev range, I get a sweet intake sound that I can hear even with the windows up and top up. Do you lose this sound at the lower revs when you desnork? Thanks in advance.

It actually increases a bit. You'll like it.

I prefer the de-snorked sound through the entire band. 4k-6k is definitely the best though. At least in my 2.5 Liter. :D

Cool. Thx. guys

Funny, I didn't think yankees used the term 'fixing' or 'fixin' to say they are preparing to do something. I thought it was a southern thing!
