Driver Development Day

I'll be running in my first driver development day and noticed some comments from other posts on flying rubber bits and stones creating paint chips and hard to remove marks from the front end.

Any suggestions on what I could put on the front end just for the track day and then remove without damaging the finish? Maybe something from the local home depot?

Thanks
-Rosso

A couple of people I know use the blue painters tape/masking tape to cover up some of their cars on long road trips and on Auto-Xs. it seems to work perfectly fine.

Just when you think you've seen it all... Try this. It works really well.

LOL there is always some product for some problem we might have. I think water and soap alone would remove tire rubber pealings from the fenders lol.

Yeah, but this stuff forms a water soluble rubber-like coating that protects the paint. It's kind of like that spray on masking that some body shops are using now.

I used painter's tape, especially on the headlights. Also, put a coat of rejex on the front of your car, it creates a very slippery surface and bugs etc.. are much easier to remove.
