with 25K you can do a build the motor and supercharge it easy 400+HP.... Now that would be fun... Call Stephen at IA (www.imagineauto.com)

I have the Super charger on my 3.2 and makes 285WHP...I still want to build a 4.1 motor and boost it. essentialy 450WHP is what I would like to see but traction is already an issue.

As far as performance, If you spent another $20K, your car wouldn't be much faster than a turbo'd S2000 or some other import. This simply is not a car meant for drag strips.
Take your new possession to a Porsche Club Track event and come back and tell us where you think the 2.5 is lacking. You'll see this car in a new way.
Excellence magazine had a review when SPortec dropped a 3.8 into a 987 and they didn't seem too impressed, the car could have easily handled much more power was their opinion. And who knows how much Sportec spent, allot more than 20K me thinks.

Yes to the rear spoiler. I do like the look of the GT3 seats in your car!

Thanks, luckily I don't drive the car every day. Otherwise I'd have to get a set of whatever it is they put in those M3's, those seats have great bolsters!
