List of most commonly used tools

I would like to build a tool box with tools just for my Boxster. Can any of my fellow forum members chime in and list what tools they use most commonly?

Metric: Socket sizes, open ended wrenches, Torx and Allen wrench/drivers...

Thanks

torx,socket

Good set torx (5) is a popular size, and socets (metric), mostly smaller size 5-12, but a few at the 24 plus. What can help are a variety of extentions, and flex mechanisms & a can of liquid wrench. I also found a good source of lighting, right on the task at hand really helps out.
But the most IMPORTANT thing of all is patience. Every time I am in a rush- things usually get srewed up. Have fun!

I know it's a given  and not trying to hijack the OP...

Fender/protective covers belong in every garage, before the tools come out!

I went to Sears and picked up their Mechanic's Tool Box. I also have the craftsman torque wrench and their wet dry vac (as cheap as $30) for cleaning the interior. tools are Guranteed for life.

A diagnostic tool for reading/resetting CEL error codes. You can get the super deluxe PST2 or a simple pocket reader for about $30. Very handy tool.

Thanks, I actually have the BFH which I needed to get the rotors off my '91 Toyota Supra Turbo. I didn't want to buy a whole mechanics tool set at Sears for like $200 when I can buy just the tools I need. Then I can spend the money I save on stuff like low profile floor jack, jack stands, creeper... Why pay for a set with 250 tool pieces when the Boxster probably has only 6 to 10 different nut, bolt, and screw head sizes. Besides I already have all the english tools I need plus some metric that I've had for years.
