At some point I'm going to include this in an exhaust replacement writeup.

Extend the spoiler fully. You'll see three plastic rivets used to hold the spoiler painted portion in place. Using a very small allen wrench, place the point of the wrench on the center of the rivet (it has a small x in the center). Now, using a small hammer, lightly tap the center of the rivet (using the allen wrench like a punch) toward the rear of the car. If you need a pic, I can provide one in about 5 minutes. This will cause the center of the rivet to fall inside the spoiler (not a problem, easily recoverable). Do this will all three and you'll be left with three easily-removable rivets with holes in the center.

Once you've got the rivets out, you need to remove the painted cover. It slides up and down easily at the front, but the back is held in place by a lip. Starting at one end, work the spoiler cover off of the lip a little at a time. Be careful, it's plastic. Set it aside somewhere that it won't get damaged or stepped on.

Now you should be able to see through the holes in the top of the spoiler. You'll see two easily-removable allen bolts. Take them out.

NOW, the important part. Lift the spoiler straight up off the mounts. Don't tilt it. Once you've got your hand over either end of it, tilt it, and the center sections of the rivets will fall right into your hand. Don't lose these little pieces. They tap right back into the rivet.
