....go to autopia.com Drop a hint that you're looking for a decent detailer. It will be like holding up the sign: Show Me Your Tits at Marti Gras. (as if I knew what Marti Gras is like)

^ good suggestion.
Allot of 'mobile' (they come to you) pro detailers post on that forum. high end Detail shops charge an arm and a leg, probably because they actually know what they are doing, unlike 90% of what I have seen.

I typically don't brag up businesses...but this place worked wonders on my crushed hood and did an unbelievable job at detailing my car. Dent Wizard in Schaumburg is the place. I know it sounds crazy but this place just (this weekend) completely restored my walked on hood and high speed polished/waxed/interior cleaned the 'Box.

Ask for Gary (the owner) or Phil (the manager) and tell them Paul with the Porsche with the dented hood sent you.

BTW--detailing the car can take a day and they offer a $5.00/day usage of one of their loaner cars to get around. Cant beat not having to get picked up and dropped off by the wife/friends!!
