this is his last email back to me on the brakes. I asked if he would split the cost.

Hey Paul, thanks for the quick reply. Yes, the car is in unbelievable shape... true to my words. Based on what I was quoted, Paul Miller to do the pads will cost $534 before taxes so its looking like a $600 job tops. The roters should be fine, so I'm basing this on just replacing the pads in front and the rear as well as the sensors which will need to be changed along with the pads.

Its got about 3 - 6K miles to go before the light sensor goes off....could be a little more or less.

I would agree to split the cost, but the truth is that I put $6500 into it in the last 6 months to re-furbish it to its original condition and selling it for less would cost me a loss on the car.

I'm really just looking to break even which 20,000 allows me to do that.

I hope you understand.
