Paint Chip repair service?
Ok I admit that I dont have the patience nor the experience to do a touch up paint kit and I personally havent tried one either. The only thing a few years ago that I tried was a paint touch up kit from my bmw dealership results were horrible. My Porsche has a few nicks and chips that I would LOVE to repair but not at the body shop prices so I was thinking about a one of those scratch/chip/airbrush repair services.
Has anyone tried Carnica or any other type of service to take care of their minor chips on their Porsches? Any recommendations that dont cost an arm and a leg would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Robert |
Robert, your local detailer shops should be able to do them for a small fee. I found a detailer/3M Clear Bra installer that will do it for starting at $30. If you let them do a full detail of the car, wash, wax (the detailer quoted me $80 for the first time, $20 for future detail, what a deal) they are doing all the scratches +paint chip for an additional $50. Hope that helps.
