Boxster S By-Pass Muffler Done!!!!

Well, it is done!!!! and boy, does it look nice or what?? and the sound, is superb!!! I have a friend who has an '04 911 Special Edition with the Porsche Sport Exhaust system and let me tell you that the sound is identical!!!

I have a couple of sound clips, I will upload soon. Enjoy the pics!!! Let me know if you would like to make this mod!

The car is still sitting in my garage waiting for the rear bumper diffuser to be installed, so I have not test the car on roads and highways. I only started her up and listen to the symphony!!!! As soon as I get her on the road, I will let you know if the interior noise changed.

Who performed the work for you and what was the cost? Looks good!

I love this idea except for the weight of the factory exhaust.

i did this on my 99 base

I did this mod also on my 99 2.5.

I have a video file of it here.

I put aftermarket tail pipes on the car. I liked the way this set up sounded but wanted a cleaner look with a lighter muffler.

Growing up the car magazines said how amazing Porsches are. Was I brainwashed? Somehow...I doubt it.

here are some pics of the original exhaust!!!!

I also forgot to mention that I also replaced the 2nddary cats with the kit offered from Fabspeed. That will probably make the sound a little louder too!!!

I will have off the jacks over the weekend! I know most of you are waiting but i work for living and by the time I get home I just want to eat and sleep! So, hold on and I will keep you posted.
