Where to buy some polyurethane Aero I side skirts...

I've seen plenty of places that has the Aero II, polyurethane and fiberglass.
But just can't seem to find the Aero I. Any Ideas?

You should be able to order them from Pelican, Suncoast, etc.

They are sometimes floating around on eBay too. I've bought them there. New and used. Usually ~$100-125/side. You'll have to beat me to them.

I noticed you got one that's painted AND installed in ocean blue metallic. You want to sell me those ones?

All jokes aside, the one on ECS Tuning, it does not display a picture of it. How could I be sure it's the correct one I'm after?

can look up the price in the classic parts section of the Porsche website: ~500€ net (both sides, at least that was my price back then) plus the 98655998200 mounting rails.
uhm...you got to be willing to put 11 screws per side in your Boxster

BRAN - I use double sided tape. No screws. There are a few screws on each end, but they line up with the existing holes for the mud guards.
It's a pretty painless process to install them.

Randy - just Google the part numbers I gave you. You'll find pictures somewhere. When you order, just talk to the guys and cross check their numbers against the Porsche numbers.

Also - if you'll look at my cars again, you'll see the black hardtop car has the Aerokit too.

Same here. They tell you to put some screws in the bodywork for the brackets, but I only used the double sided tape and the 5 or so screws and clips each side provided for securing them under the skirts, plus the ones in the front and back wheel wells. No need to screw into the bodywork at all.

Having never done this type of modification, I would assume that you buy them, take them to a body shop to have them painted and then mount them as stated? On average, are they expensive to paint?

I took them to a body shop to have them painted for around $250, and then I mounted them with the help of a friend. I don't like anyone else handling my car if I don't have to. I just gave them one of my painted bumperettes to use to match the paint perfectly.
