Car colors.

I am in the market for a new car and have an opinion question. What color car do you think is the cleanest looking, what about trucks?

For some reason, I feel black is the best for cars, and white for trucks.

Thanks

Metallic Silver is there any other color? Black looks nice but it shows all the dirt very fast. Love yellow but so do the cops. Silver is the traditional for german cars can't go wrong there.

I would say Lapis Blue. At night it looks black. In the day, it's blue. In bright sunlight, it's purple. Probably the best colour ever made. Not your everyday black white silver. Try it, you'll love it!!!!

So what I hear you saying is once you try Lapis Blue, you'll never go back :D

I think your mistaking Ocean Blue Metalic for Lapis Blue because my Ocean Blue Metalic reacts to the sunlight just like your boxster... I ALSO RECOMMEND MY COLOR... Ocean Blue Metalic. Will post pictures of my freshly painted boxster, along with the body colored interior done at the time of painting the boxster.

Grey metallic... No questions.

Rain Forest Green Metallic... the best out there.

But don't get this color. I like having a rare color. :D

Well, I'll go ahead and recommend Unklecraker's color, it's the bestest! He's also got nice rims.

If I could pick again, I'd go with Chills' green, very unique.

Hey, I asked him not to get my color. ;)

Thanks HIFI.

I will actually pick a different color than my car. Silver is kinda boring, too common.

I say go White. White is the new Black, but shows less dirt.

For some reason I think white looks spectacular on a Porsche.

Please buy a silver boxster. You'll be the only silver boxster owner in, oh, say a one mile radius!

White with the 19" Carrera Classics would look sweet.

Super66, maybe you could show us what that looks like

unklekraker 04-23-2007 06:32 PM

CJ...that';s funny..hahahahaha! I would recommend mine but my price value might go down by $2K if there's one more Arena Red that exist..hehehehehe!

Seal Grey - Hands down

I used to drive an S4 and it looked great in Black. A Boxster, the Seal Grey looks even better than the black. In the pic, it is with the hardtop. When I first saw it with the black soft top, I said to myself, "That's the car!" Can't beat basic instincts. :D
