that's why i'm married so I don't have to worry about using my skills on talking to other girls
and the only rubber i burn this days are the pot holders

I've got a great line for this one but I'll play nice and just laugh to myself :D

Boy, you sure don't like cops much. I guess rejection does leave you with a bad opinion of people. Maybe you should try picking up some female ones instead.

I was under the impression that homosexuality was looked down upon in the ghetto/gang world.

Proud of you for being so open about it, though. I bet it was tough to just come out like this.

come close, i need to tell you guys
something......................................... ... HE'YAAAAAAAAA back IN YOUR CAGES!

986 Girl 04-19-2007 06:23 AM

I once had a woman in a minivan yell out to me that I must get a lot of freckles riding with the top down... I'm not sure if that was a compliment or not?

And to hell with getting female attention! Now that I'm single, I'm hoping once the car comes back from the shop (Mon), I'll be getting some attention from the opposite sex :p

I dont think its either a compleiment or insult, I heard that once from a person who watched me practice baseball one day, they asked me the same thing and when i asked why, they told me 1, i didnt wear a hat that day, 2, freckles are called sun kisses, 3, she thought i was ginger until i was close enough to tell.

I guess some people develop more freckles in the sun or its a old wives tale.

986 Girl 04-19-2007 08:20 AM

Yep, freckles come out due to being in the sun and from having paler skin. The dots are basically skin cells that produce melanonin easier than other cells. People that tan just have more of these cells than pale people (at least, that's how it was explained to me... it's probably more complicated overall).

Anyway, I just couldn't figure out why she said it to me... was just sort of random and I wasn't sure whether to smile like it was a compliment, or shrug it off like a criticism, hehe.

*L* Where is the hall monitor? I guess that is my peeve, unfair comments and "star" treatment -- OOps. Wrong thread. Sorry, my bad -- I got confused.

I don't know what the big deal is. You drive a car that a lot of people think is nice and get comments. Sure, it is annoying. Just be glad you aren't a trucker. Think of how many kids they must have giving them the "universal" signal for them to honk their horns.

Makes sense. Must be an adaptive way to tolerate the sun as pale people do not tolerate it well.

I admittedly tan with my top down. Very evident after a long day of driving

Attention is cool, but negative attention can go to hell :\

CJ_Boxster 04-19-2007 11:05 AM

I used to never tan and only turn red in the sun, but now adays i just turn this yellowish bronze color... sorta like a Ryan Seacrest spray on tan special, So i look pretty good after a 15 minute drive with the top down.

[QUOTE=Bavarian Motorist]So... I am stopped at a light in Albany with my top down.

I see some kids in an old cavalier (maybe 22 years old each) trying to get my attention..../QUOTE]

Um, aren't these "kids" older than you?

Anyways,...

RE: burnout

Burnouts are fun! My box likes to axle hop more than anything. I"ll roast'em right before I get the tires replaced. It's a ritual I do. Great time to check ABS and other combat maneuvers also.

When doing a burn out try to avoid the axle hopping. It is bad for your trany! ;)

djomlas 04-19-2007 01:25 PM

when i was very young and my cousin was babysitting me, i got wayyyyy too many freckles from that, on my shoulders and my face (thank you cousin)
they dont show much at all, but the more and more 'tan' i get the more you see them.
but then again, i get a tan for a day and its gone, i just burn and turn red.

but then again i didnt meet many people tha said they look bad, so whatever ;)
