Spring cleaning! Car in the shop!
Well, I finally slowed down a little at work and put my car in the shop. I am doing a little spring cleaning of sorts. The front bumper will be taken off and refinished. I have a few scratches and some stone chips. I am having the whole bumper repaired and refinished. While it is off, I am going to clean out the radiators. Finally, I am having the deck lid stripped and refinished. There are some sand scratches in it and when I had the car detailed 2 months ago, it appears the buffer burned the paint and knocked off the tip of the B. I don't worry about this kind of stuff because I am in the body shop business... I have a black non-metallic paint and some of the best techs in the state. Best of all, cost.... 0 dollars. I am the boss... hehe. I also copped a demo from my dealership for the week... a Pontiac Grand Prix. Widetrack or so it says on the gauge cluster... kind of cheesy.
What do you guys think? I want to go with the chrome Boxster S nameplate instead of the silver one. I will keep you posted! |
Well I'm certainly interested. My S is loose so I'm considering going to the chrome as well. Hurry up and make the move so I can see what it looks like!!
The previous owner must have hit every curb in town because the underside of my front bumper has alot of scrapes. I'm also considering the re-paint but I don't get the freebie! |
I replaced my silver one with chrome. Something different. I like it.

Red instead
I was thinking chrome "s" until I saw a red one somewhere - take pics whatever you decide - I still haven't made the switch from the original
