Mechanic in Los Angeles

Hey everybody,

I'm looking for an introduction to a good mechanic in the Los Angeles area, ideally someone who specializes in Porsche (or at least German cars). There's nothing wrong with my car now and I've got 18 months left on my warranty, but I've been meaning to build a relationship with a small, owner-operated shop nearby. I'm looking for someone I can trust who knows his way around a 986 and can do installs and repairs for me as I make more upgrades.

Please let me know if you've got a good guy in or around the Brentwood/Santa Monica/West LA area.

Thanks!

look for Sergio, he owns the shop...eventhough its a bit of a drive, it will be worth it imo!

Speed Gallery in Studio City. They're really good.

So you guys take your Boxster to Sergio for service? He seems very knowledgable about Porsches. He had some difficulties in putting on the GHL exhaust for me a few years ago, maybe mine was the first for him.

Does he charge fairly good prices for maintenance work?

Has anyone tried this place: http://www.stuttgartautoservice.com/index.html
