Can a 2000 Boxster S take on a 2003+ SRT-4 in a straight line (i.e. 0-60)?

2000 Porsche Boxster S

0-60: 5.2 Transmission: Unknown

2001 Porsche Boxster S

0-60: 5.4 Transmission: Manual

However, I know someone that has run a 13.7 in his SRT-4...just fwiw (for what it's worth).

I know a guy here in town that has a 04 SRT-4. He gave me a ride once and I wasn't all that impressed with the accel. Not shabby at all for the $$ though. I saw him out one sunday when I was out for a cruise and tried to get him to run with me but he wouldn't have it. I think it would be a close race. Outcome depending on driver skill more than likely. If he ever runs with me I'll post it up to let you know the outcome.

The biggest thing about that SRT-4 is it's so easily modded for good gains. Crappy lag though.
