No Touch Tire care? Wheel care?

Has anyone used the No Touch Tire Care stuff that comes in a spray can?

I believe you spray it on and it works. Simple as that.

Costco seems to have a 4-pack on sale and if it works as advertised it would be worth the labor saved to buy it.

Also, are there similar products for the wheels (spray on and hose off)? I had a Meguiars product for that but only had middling results.

If anyone has a recommendation for keeping the tires and wheels clean with minimal hassle, I'd love hearing about it.

Hi,

I've used it for many years on the Boxster, Esprit, and 240Z. It's good stuff. I particularly like that it is not Glossy and Greasy like many of the other products. It leaves the Tire with a clean, Black semi-gloss finish that IMHO, looks great - better than the other Glossy products. Lasts a couple a washes.

I am going to try the Zaino Tire Dressing which I got as a beta test Sample from Sal, we'll see...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

I use the No Touch tire care stuff from Costco and it works well. Good price too on the 4 pack. Usually I just scrub/wash the tires w/ a quick pass of the sponge/brush while washing and then hit 'em w/ the no-touch.

As for wheels - never found a good wheel cleaner that is no touch - nor have I looked hard b/c most will end up being too caustic for the finish on the wheels, brake calipers, etc. Instead, I coat the wheels with Rejex (inside and out) 2xs per year. Once coated, all it takes to clean them is a quick pass w/ a sponge or soft bristle brush (like this)

mostly just to get into the crevices.

Good luck!

The Chicago area PCA Concours Judges recommend Vinylex for the tires. Great stuff. It looks like this (sometimes hard to find in stores):

I also use No Touch for the same reason MN Boxster mentioned...clean look but not greasy...
