Finally! A ridable folding bike that fits in the Boxster's trunk!
I've been working with Betst bikes for a little while on their magnesium framed 16" folding bike, and with minor adjustments we were able to find one that fits the front trunk of the 987 quite easily, and I'm testing the 986 trunk later today, which I'm sure will be just fine also, as it is deeper than the 987 trunk, slightly. The bike has a 3-speed internal hub, magnesium frame, aluminum components (for the most part) and rides about as well as a good quality 20" folding bike like the Dahon Speed 7. I was hoping to get one to fit the rear trunk but the only folders that fit the rear are the ultra-mini bikes that are not really ridable. I'm 6'2" and 210 lbs and this one suits me just fine.
Anyone looking for a folding bike for the track or just to have around for road trips, let us know - we will be selling them for $279.00.

I have to shoot a better shot - it's folded now for testing in the 986 also. Good looking bike - the brushed magnesium is really nice - sort of like a white gold color - not as white as aluminum.

Yeah, I considered a Razor also, but can get much better distance with a bike, plus I'm considering taking it to Hawaii with me as well...easy to put in cargo.
