AC charging
 

Has anyone charged the AC themselves? If it's not a DIY, what can I expect to pay?

I just attempted mine. I find it disturbing the Bentley manual deemed "this beyond the scope of this book..." BS. This is a fairly simple proceedure in my mind...but hey I could be wrong. We'll see.


My Durametric showed code 170 which sounded like low freon. So I emptied 1/2 a can of 134a into it, and ran the diagnostic again, since I was hoping the computer would tell me it was back to normal. I ran into code 30 "implausible signal" which has me baffled. I didn't want to over charge it so I wrote Durametric and await their reply...
