Paint Chips

I wanted to get some advice from you guys. I am going to attempt to repair the chip in my passenger side mirror and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these products :

Hey nick..can't give you any input on any of those products but have you look at the product called Langka? One of the Admin that I know personally, from the other forum used it and he's very happy with it

I have no experience with the products you mention. I used touchup paint from the dealer and I found the info in this thread helpful.

98 - I saw that thread as well. Unfortunately, the chip is on the side of the mirror, and I don't think the toothpick approach will work due to gravity

I have used the Autovisuals product on small stone chips, no big stuff.
I like the paint pen much better than touch-up paints you have to apply with a brush, then monkey with cleaning the brush, the paint getting thick in the bottle, etc.
The paint match in my case was perfect, so no problem there.
There are ways to produce a virtually undetectable paint repair using the bottle and brush method, but frankly I found the descriptions of the process to be a whole lot more work to fix a pencil-tip chip than I cared to put into it.

try www.paintchip.com and get their pen, they got it delivered to me in no joke like 1 day, and matched the color of MY car even perfectly

i use Langka along with a factory bottle of touch-up and a finer brush from an art supply store. i'll post a pic of a BIG chip filled & smoothed with Langka when i get a chance.

ok, here's a repair to the painted interior of my car. i had a tire sitting in the passenger seat and when i hit a bump, it rubbed through the paint AND primer of the door handle trim. the spot was about 3/8" x 3/8" in size. i circled the repair in the photo. apologies for all the pollen; pollen falls like snow here and accumulates in march and april. if you have allergies, you will die.

no joke

actually, i had a flat. the rear wheels won't fit in either trunk, so it had to go in the passenger seat or be left on the road. it was either the wheel or the girl. i made the right choice.
