What do you guys do with your winter beater in the summer

I'm thinking of pushing mine into a ditch, taking the battery out and covering it with tree branches until next winter.

I drive mine in the rain...or any threat of rain.

What's a 'winter beater'?

I drive the same car year round... on the same tires, even!

A beater is a car us folk in the northern hinterlands use in the winter. I define it as any car more than 7 years old, wash twice a year, prefereably in the winter, and perform very little maintenence.

That definition of winter beater exactly fits my Rodeo, but I drive it year round. Ain't gonna take the Box on a construction site or haul half a ton of brick or sakrete in the back of it, either.

I drive mine to and from the train station and when its going to rain. I also drive it if I have to go to Lowe's or get a lot of stuff at Target.

During the summer there are so many choices in my garage, but it seems lately I'm in the Box.
