What should I have paid?

I was after a used 987 Boxter S in Lapis blue with sand leather. The hardtop is valuable to me (and now that I have them the bi-xenon lights). It had only 600 miles!

So, before I tell you, you tell me: What should I have paid?

Guesses aren't going to prove much. Enjoy the beautiful Box!

I bought a similar car but a 2005 with only 300 miles on it and paid $52K, of course there are variances by regions, time of year etc..

Don't punish yourself unnecessarily - you bought what you wanted, think you got a deal, so don't go looking for better deals to make yourself feel bad if you happened to pay a bit more. Just enjoy the car!! I can guarantee you that there are many thousands who paid much more than you did, no matter how much you paid!

That is a great looking Boxster. Love the sand interior! I'm with Todd - if you like the vehicle - then you got a good deal. Enjoy!

Not sure what you paid for it but they sold you the car with the steering wheel installed upside down

LOL! I was going to comment on that but you beat me to it!

$55, 612.37

But if you paid more, remember that..."A man's errors are his portals of discovery." :)

you bought the car, and then you went home and saw that it was a lease of some sort :D

Portland International Speedway?

I made no mistake, my error was volitional.
I paid 56k and am very happy with it.
When I was 25 I saw an old guy (maybe 45) driving an XKE and thought, "the old fart will never drive it like it was made to be driven." Now I find myself in that position with a much better car. So I need to learn to drive it.
Have any of you been to Portland International Speedway?

Brucelee 03-28-2007 08:37 AM

You paid what you paid for it.

Don't worry, be happy!

I paid $$$$$ on my boxster, with all the mods that's upcoming and been done ..I should have bought an S :D

When I took it home, my son told me to return it coz' there's no engine in front

djomlas 03-28-2007 10:20 AM

maybe we should start, like what we have with how many miles on a car, a thread on how much we all paid for our cars.

you guys think it wuld be a good idea?

unklekraker 03-28-2007 10:37 AM

For some it will be a good idea to know how much have they progress and for others, they might end up kicking their own butt and screaming....."What I paid this much and I spend this much already" :troll: ahahahahahaha!
