Car fixed self again...

Well, I have had the CEL on for about 3 months for an emissions deal. Most likely from my EVO intake and MAF cleaning issue... Well today on the way to work, the light went out. What gives? Do the cars have cycling issues where after a certain number of starts, it will clear the CEL. I have an OBD II reader and cleared it a month or so ago and it came back on the same week. Do you all think the warming temp could be helping with the computer readings for air flow metering?

Any thoughts.

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, the Car has a Fault mmemory limit. After 40 or 80 faults, the light goes out, but will return. Couls also be that you just burned out the bulb - does it activate on engine start?...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
