Looks like they took the easy way out with the 3 into 1 design they used on that header.

How so, CJ?

with the way they are welded into the triangle shape collector. Traditionaly they arent welded 3 in a row side by side (OOO) into a collector, traditionally its done like this:

---_
-/O\
/O O\

I think they did it that way to save space since the traditional way you have shown it occupies more space. I am very interested in this system but I don't know if it really make the car that much more faster. This people claim that the boxster S with their system and the GAIC chip can put out 300 at the crank!!! See to believe, I read a post on this forum about a guy who had Dansk header and cats and muffler and got barely to 275 at the crank which is good not not near 300. What do you guys think??

As an engineer who has designed high performance/race headers for many years, I conclude that that is a poor collector design...with the primary goal of conserving manufactoring costs. A true merge collector is the ticket, and that design is far from it.

then how about this kit from Fabspeed: http://www.fabspeed.com/Boxster.html
I have heard that they get their stuff done in China (which is not necessary a bad thing but you wonder how good the quality of welding and materials they use over there). The headers that I would consider getting are the Dansk but they don't have the O2 sensor receptacles for the usa boxsters and i don't want to have any lights go off on my dashboard. Are there any other good set of headers with o2 sensor compatible??
