after three months... I GOT MY BOXSTER

I finally got my Boxster!!! a silver/bllack 2000 with 40k miles! I found it about 200 miles away and the owner met me half way after a couple weeks of emails etc...
I got the PPi at his local Porsche dealer and everything checked out GREAT! I also purchased the rest of his platinum Porsche warrantee that lasts until late next summer!!!
I could not sleep the last two nights... I kept going into the garage and turning the lights on to make sure I wasn't dreaming... sure enough this morning it was still there!
I'll try and get pics up soon.

Congrats and welcome to the club. Now you can start wasting all your money on mods and upgrades.

Congrats, and welcome to the club. I really like the silver color of my 2000 Boxster. I got mine at the beginning of last summer and it had 43K miles. It had two previous owners but got a clean bill of health from PPI.

BTW, when I was car shopping I was looking at a number of two-seater convertibles, but the BMW dealer that was had the car on the lot talked me into taking the Boxster home for the weekend to "give it a try", there was no going back, these are very fun cars, enjoy,

Ed

I'm approaching my one-year anniversary with a similar car. All I can say is that the honeymoon is still on.

Congratulations and I hope you enjoy it.

I remember when I got mine, I kept going in the garage to admire it! It is normal. Come to think of it... I still do that!

Best of luck and welcome!

Congrats!

I've only had mine for 3 weeks, and I also still go out to the garage just to take a look... pretty unbelievable to me.

That reminds me I really need to get the bugs off this weekend!

Loving every minute of it...
