Looking for 12 Volt Fuse for Radar

I'm going to direct wire in my radar detector today. I would like to tap off a fuse where the 12V is on/off with the key. Car is a 2006 987. Anyone done this before that can save me some experimentation? Let me know the row (A,B,C) and fuse #. That info is in the little book behind the fuse cover. I hesitate to tap off any of the "scary ones like PASM, etc. Thanks.

Use the cellphone connection in the dash. Its a plug that has like 4 wires, I posted how to do it in my V1 thread so go look.

Looking for Key Switched Fuse

Correct, it's an 06 and the detector is not a V1 and does not have the 4w RJ-11 connector. I simply need to connect 1 hot wire to a key switched fuse. The other wire will go to ground. Trust me, I know how to do this if I can just find the switched fuse to tap into. Most of the fuses I check with my voltmeter have 12V on them even though the key is off. Today I'll make sure they are not just hot to the 3-5 minute period before everything shuts down. I think things like the power windows etc still for for a short period of time, maybe I was testing too soon?

FOUND! Switched 12V on Row D Fuse Slot #4

Fuse box Row D, Fuse #4 is empty on my 987 and will provide 12V only when switched on by the key. This is a blank in the little book so I imagine that regardless of the options on your car, this looks to always be a spare empty port.
