Gemballa rear spoiler
 

There was a thread about the cracking rear spoilers on Ebay and the Gemballa GT spoiler, I did a little research and found out that the Ebay spoiler is a copy from Strosek in Germany, Strosek sells them for about $440 picked up, the Gemballa one is about $850 also picked up. The Gemballa one is sharp, I went by their shop last weekend and saw one installed, but I am not sure if it is $850 sharp. If anybody has any other ones they want priced in germany, let me know I am stuck here another week.

yikes 850 for a spoiler... if is made of carbon fiber? if so then MAYBE 850 isnt soooooo bad but damn, for 850 i could buy the wheels i really want for my box instead of a spoiler.

Everything they sell is over priced. Your paying for the designer name brand. GAMBALLA.

IMHO upgrading the 986 rear wing to a Gemballa is a very strange mod:
You will never be able to see it and 99.99% of all other drivers (who can see it when you're faster than 75 mhp) won't notice or give a hoot.
I'd rather buy nice wheels or a clear bra
Hey, actually I am getting my clear bra installed on Tuesday :D

So a $850 rear spoiler is a waste of money because no one can see it, but a clear bra is a good investment because no one can see it?? Just wondering ;)

Actually my car came with a 3M clear bra and it's AWESOME! You can hardly see it unless you are up close, and it's just as shiny as the clear. coat. The functional difference is noticeable. I just got a knarley ship above it that I'll have to touch up.


I'd get it done for sure if I ever buy another luxury car.
