19" Wheels at $795/set. Anyone purchase before?

Yea very nice deal, but i think he wants about $1400.00 for the set. Will start bidding at...but expects more then that!

Looks like they are wider than the standard wheel and the offset is different (intended for 911). I'm guessing you would need some pretty big spacers to fit these on your car.

A couple of months ago I asked our esteemed forum members their thoughts on putting an 8.5" whl on the front of a Boxster. The consenus was it was too wide.

Too bad, those are sharp whls. But sellers like to advertise their whls always fit Boxsters. Generally these are half truths. They may work but it will not be a simple bolt-on application. Multiple hoops may have to be traversed and after some point you may have compromised handling and cornering ability to make these whls fit.

I have 18X8.5 (et 54) with no issues. No spacers required. Straight bolt on.
